The varsity guys expressed their skepticism about my identification of a briefly-seen adult bald eagle during our 50-minute run along the Gunpowder River today.  The bird obligingly returned moments later, showing off a white head and tail.  Two hours later several of the guys were in a fashion show rehearsal organized by one of the girls on the team.  The Hereford Zone presents interesting opportunities.
